Uranium Prospects Plc was established in 2007 to acquire, or purchase options to acquire, exploration rights over land where initial tests have indicated the potential for a high concentration of uranium deposits, either on its own or under a joint venture agreement.
The Company will fund some or all of the following activities to assess the concentration of uranium deposits:
- prospecting
- mapping of the land
- airborne geophysical studies and
- lake sediment and soil geochemistry analysis
Initially, the Company has focused its activities principally in Canada's Athabasca region and has entered into a significant and potentially very exciting joint venture with CanAlaska Uranium Ltd and Yellowcake Plc to prospect The Grease River Project.
